Looking for some help with the following..
AIX 4.3.2
Informix IDS 7.3
Problem is as follows: When connecting from a client PC, error -952 is
encountered. Also when I log in via telnet, I bring up dbaccess
DATABASE_NAME and everything is O.K. I go into connection and choose the
connection that my DBSERVERNAME is set to and specify my current user id and
password and I get the same -952 error!?!
I am also able to enter dbaccess via dbaccess //connection_name/database
without problem.
This problem occured after a system administrator bumped up the O.S. number
of licensed users and rebooted.

Make sure that your user id and password are correct. If they are different
on your home system than the target box, ensure that you pass the correct
values in the ODBC connection string.
You can trace errors in Informix using the command "finderr [error_number]".
Good luck,
John
