Hi,
Thanx for your input. I found someone opened the database.
In case, I couldn't get hold of the person to ask him to quit, or i
couldn't find which user have logged. Is it possible by db activity I can
remove the exclusive lock. Pls. suggest if anyway I can step in thru
command prompt and remove the lock.

First, get a list of sessions connected to the database you want to export
onstat -g sql | grep <database>
Then, kill each of the sessions (first column of the report)
onmode -z <session_id>
