Hello everyone, When you add a chunk to a dbspace, IDS logs this information in the online.log; say, you've lost this info from this log and that chunk was added 2 year ago, and the old online.log was archived to a place noone can find it anymore -- The question is how do you find out when a chunk was added? Is there a systables in the sysmaster database that can tell me this info? Thanks for the tips Kern --

I don't think the information is recorded by IDS. If you are using symbolic links for the chunk paths, check the create time of the link itself (ls -lc <filelink>). Likely it has not changed since the link was created. If you don't create the links in advance it probably contains the date and time the chunk was added to the instance. Art S.
