Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi All,
Can someone please provide me the information about
how the libraries changed between sgi-irix versions
5.3 & 6.2.
We need some info about MIPS ABI supported by IRIX 6.2
Is there any difference in using libraries such as
libm.a, libc.so ,libsocket.so,libmutex.so etc present in both
/usr/lib & /usr/lib/abi
We need to compile in MIPS ABI mode only.
Should we use /usr/lib/abi or /usr/lib libraries
Looking forward to some help.
Thanks & Regards,
Pravin.
