Upgrade IDS from 7.30 to 7.31

Dear Gurus, I intent to upgrade existing IDS 7.30 to 7.31 as INFORMIX will not support 7.30 by end of this year. Therefore, I need to find out what is the best way to perform the upgrade. Besides, is there any "must-do" things need to perform after the upgrade? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks & Regards, Jason
