In this case
On WinNT,
Go to Control Panel/System. In that click onto the Environment Tab.
There you will see a list of system variables and a list of variables for
the current user. In those please check if INFORMIXDIR has the correct
value.
On Win95,
Check your autoexec.bat, if there is an statement like this
set INFORMIXDIR=< .... >If there isn't, no problems. But if there is an entry like this, make sure
it points to the correct directory. (for e.g. CLI when installed creates
such an entry, & doesn't remove it at uninstall time, so this could be an
entry left behind by some other product.
On both WinNT & Win95, for IECC , it doesn't matter if environment variable
INFORMIXDIRisn't set, because they will read this value from the registry.
But if environment variable INFORMIXDIR isset, IECC will use this value, so
it better be set correctly.
