I need to a few remote users login as the same Informix user. The server is Linux and ten remotes are also linux and aix. I tried to set the userid and pwd in .odbc.ini but when I do I get error stating the password is invalid. The user in this case is the same username calling the server. Donald French

Is 'grant dba to <username>' what you're looking for?
