Fast recipe to configure IDS 7.30 under Linux?

Hello! I´ve been working for a long time with Informix-SE 5 and 7 under SCO OpenServer. I would like to test IDS 7.30, I have no experience on it. I downloaded and installed it on Red Hat 6.1. Now I have to configure it but it has nothing to do with SE. 1) I would like to know if there is a HOWTO, FAQ for configuring it, before reading de 1300 pages dba manual from "Anwser Online" or attending to a local Informix course? 2) I would like to know the main differences among: IDS 7.3, IDS workgroup, Informix.2000 Internet Foundation (9.2??) ? 3) Also I would like to hear some ***technical*** opinions about Oracle 8.1.6 versus Informix under Linux Thanks in advance Evelio Martínez
