Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

We are running several databases (for separate clients) on a single instance
of Informix (7.30.UC7 - Informix for Linux) and we want to monitor traffic
for these databases separately. The logs capture the standard UPDATE,
INSERT, DELETE but the most common occurences on this machine are SELECT
statements. I have gone through the admin guide but I can't find anything
that will capture this data.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can track this? Any thoughts would be
appreciated.

You could use sysmaster:sysptprof which provides detailed statistics of
activity at the database:table level. You could initialize stats (onstat -z)
once a day, then extract stats at the 'end' of the day. Do this daily and
pretty soon you have enough data to graph your way into the hearts of
whomsoever you desire :-)
