Hi We have taken over a project to use informix as the store for a web site and I have downloaded the trial versions of Dynamic Server 2000 and an Informix JDBC driver (ifxjdbc.jar v2.0) from intraware. When I try to use the JDBC driver it prints up the message: This release of JDBC requires to be run with JDK 1.2+. Funny thing is, is that I am using JDK1.2.2...... My JDBC url is: jdbc:informix-sqli://localhost:1533/testDB:INFORMIXSERVER=localhost Has anyone experienced this problem? Cheers Mark
Hi Mark, I believe that the workaround is to set the vm version in command line: java -Djava.vm.version=1.2.1 However this should have been fixed in the most recent release of the JDBC driver (Informix JDBC 2.11JC2). Let me know if it hasn't. ben ben.wilde@informix.com, Product Manager, Java.
