Folks, DIS11.70FC7 with ER replication, Redhat Linux 5 Any comments on the follwoing error in log? Thanks, Frank 19:36:41 WARNING: mt_aio_wait: errno == EINVAL 19:36:41 Error : Trusted host file (/etc/hosts.equiv) cannot be opened for caching. 19:36:41 Error : Trusted host file (/etc/hosts.equiv) cache marked invalid. 19:36:41 WARNING: mt_aio_wait: errno == EINVAL --001a11c3c8ec6a93a804e7265364
It's the system-wide trust file. There's an Informix specific one in $INFORMIXDIR/etc/ As far as I can tell, this should be only a warning and not an error. I got rid of the log entry on our servers by touching the /etc/hosts.equiv file. It seems that IDS is complaining that the file doesn't exist, but it's fine with an empty file.
