Do you still need I-Star/I-Net on the Host? > > Will No, My understanding is that the product has sort of two halfs. One half is a Master and communicates to the server and of course can connect to either I-Net or to a sqlturbo on the host as they both have the same interface. The other half ODBC communicates to the client software. These two halfs work together on the same box or the Master can be installed on the host and the client in which case it replaces the I-Star/I-Net software. Basically the Master probably translates the server side into ODBC and does network handling and the ODBC part communicates to the client software in ODBC form. Cheers - Jim My opinions are my own.
