Hi Tsutomu Ogiwara, Thanks - that was causing my problem. My 'No Networking' hardware profile that I was booting with for stand alone operation disabled the network card. I re-enabled the card and the Informix server was able to initialise first time. Regards, Bryce Stenberg.
