F.E. Vers

We recently upgraded to 9.21 2.30 TC1 for our Windows/95 clients. However, after the upgrade, the engine is still reporting that some of the clients are running F.E. Vers 7.20. I confirmed that each of the clients connecting as 7.20 do in fact have the correct version, 9.21, installed. How does I/Net report the F.E. Vers to the server? Which Dll's supply this information? Thanks. Steve Romankiw Environment ------------------------- Clients: Windows/95 I/Net: Setnet32 version 9.21 2.30 TC1 IDS ver. 7.30.UC9 Solaris 2.6

Which Dll's supply > this information? The FE version is reported as part of the initial connection handshake along with environment vars and client byte order. Are you running any compiled applications that were last compiled and linked using the ESQL/C or CLI 7.20 libraries? These libraries are what supply the FE version id to the I-Net software. It is the application which is being termed 'Front-End' not the I-Net version. Art S. Kagel & Family kagel@erols.com
