High-Availability For Informix

HI, Anybody out there can suggest some high-availability solutions using Informix. Something like an automatic switch over. Don
Go to http://www.informix.com/answers and get the manuals for High Availability (Administration Guide) and Enterprise Replication. High Availability (or HA or HDR) is the easiest to set up, as you use your last level 0 to start it up after entering several commands. It is documented at the Admin Guide. Enterprise Replication allows you to selectively replicate whole (or select rows within a) table. You can even three-way or four-way replicate your data. Take care. But you have following restrictions: - you need the exactly same hardware and informix version on both machines - low tuning features (not to say no) - no replication of blob objects stored in blob spaces - autoswitch possibillity is dropped fro 9.20 and higher > > Enterprise Replication allows you to selectively replicate whole (or select > rows within a) table.
