If you aren't out of room in the file system containing the tx log, I think you are out of UNIX locks - 'sar -v' in SVR4. Default is 400 so this is quite possible. i) LOCK TABLE EXCLUSIVE ii) Upgrade SE to 5.02 or later (bug fixed!) iii) Increase size of UNIX lock table -- Sally Woolrich
