import databases files

I am using a professionnal (pharmacy) software that is using files (.dat and .idx) comming from an Informix database but Informix is not running on my system (SCO). Is there any way (filter) to import these files in MS Access ?? Thanks for your answers Christophe

Is there any way (filter) to import these files in MS Access No, I don't know any simply mode to import Informix db files into a MS-Access mdb. Probably you are using Informix Standard Engine. So you can use an ODBC driver for Informix Standard Engine. (Intersolv, SQL-retrieve,etc..) to open your database. Then you can open Informix tables from MS-Access ODBC. Dennis.
