RE: current next extent size

If I understand well what you mean by "current next_extent_size" the table what you need should be the systabinfo VIEW, though I'm not sure whether it's generally supported or not. Anyway the columns you would need: ti_nextns number of extents ti_fextsiz first extent size ( in pages ) ti_nextsiz next extent size ( in pages ) ti_partnum table partition number From first 3 datas you should be able to calculate the current next_extent_size... By the fourth data you may join with systabnames (an SMI table that's supported in all versions) if the tablename is given. Hope that helps. Csomi -----Original Message----- From: M. I have to compare this values with the original ones. Is there a way with a sql-statement? Thanks for advices. Matthias Informix Version 7.24
