Andy In %WINDIR%\\drivers\\etc there should be a file hosts.equiv Create one if there it does not exist. Add your SUN host name here. Check that you can ping the host by name or add it to the hosts file in this directory. I am receiving the following error message: EXCEPTION 1: SQLSTATE=IX000 MESSAGE TEXT: Client host or user %s is not trusted by the server. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem? Thank you, Andy
MW, I have added the SUN hostname to the host.equiv file on the NT machine. I can ping the NT machine from the SUN machine, but I am still receiving the same error message when trying to connect to the NT Informix database. Any ideas?
