HELP URGENT: Level 0 backup from system A (Solaris) to be restored to System B (SCO UNIX) - IS THIS POSSIBLE???!!!

Is there a way for a level-0 backup from a Solaris 2.5 Informix Online 7.x backup to be restored to an informix 7.0 instance running on SCO Openserver 3.0. We need to test the backup of System A to another place so we can perform some system upgrades confident that our backups are reliable. But can we restore on a totally diffrent system the level 0 backup from another system, with only their Informix Online being similar? Thank in advance to anyone who can help. thank you.

As long as the chunk names and sizes are the same on both machines a Level 0 restore should work. If they aren't you will get an error about certain chunks not being there. Just create them and try again. Hi, I don't think it would be possible because of the different hardware. But you can check it, ask the technical support.
