We have 2 new Linux 64 bit servers that are to be used to replace our 32 bit servers running IDS 10. Do we need to install a separate 64 bit version of IDS 10? More importantly, will the old and new servers be able to read and update each others data without any problems?

Either will be able to have full access to the old servers whilst the old servers will have full access to the new one, subject to sqlhosts and permissions being set up correctly. Keith
The 64 bit and 32 bit servers should be able to read each other's data without any problem. The 64 bit and 32 bit vesions of Informix would have to be installed separately.
