I am struggling with executing a bladlet that I download from the IIUG web site. The bladelet is called Split and ISplit and it take a string and splits it based upon a split charater you either get a LIST or multiple rows returned from the external function. Both register and test find in IDS 9.40.UC3 without a problem. However, I am using I4gl 7.32 and 4gl does not support lists. Even though Split works I don't have a way to operate on LISTS in 4gl. So if I execute ISplit I receive the following error: Program stopped at "main.4gl", line number 29. SQL statement error number -686. Function (informix.isplit) has returned more than one row. The external function is doing a return with a resume, how do I handle this in 4gl? I have tried "foreach" loops to no avail.
