Question about Date/Time stamps on pages

These are Y2K related questions. First, are the Date/Time stamps on the pages in the DB actually a Date and Time stamp or are they a Date and a serialazation number? If I was to have to set the hardware date back to 1972 (It has the same calendar as the year 2000) how would the engine react when I brought it up and it saw that the Date/Time stamps on the pages are set to values far into the future? Thanks for the help. Chris Carter Systems Engineer, Unix Platforms Harrah's Entertainment, Inc.

No problems here as long as your engine is down when you change the date. Be aware that if you change the date when the engine is up, bad things can happen (such as not being able to restart the engine, sometimes ever.). : Thanks for the help. : Chris Carter : Systems Engineer, Unix Platforms : Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. -- Rob Wilson rwilson@ntsource.com
