Then, i'll be able to proceed ->as we wish. -> ->Naomi Hi, again, Naomi, IF your version of ISQL will let you update the sys... tables, then you will want to change systables and sysindexes, which is where the owner names are stored. (The systabauth trick that I sent to you [off-net] is a way of granting "select with grant option" without changing the table ownerships.) I don't know but I've been told that logging in as user informix is a not-so-hot idea. Maybe you want a special "superdba" login instead, for doing your table maintenance.
