Yes, it's a bit disconcerting isn't it? Did an upgrade this weekend and
got exactly the same thing. There were no threads running, and
everything seemed okay, so assumed the best.

It is disconcerting ; especially when you are told to expect the
conversion to take hours and within only seven minutes the message log
displays the 'sysutils database built successfully' and 'Checkpoint
completed' messages and the instance is idle after that - I have left
the instance sit for 44 hours and the only change displayed
by ' onstat -p ' is in the number of flushes(which is also a bit
disconcerting; any explanation why an inactive instance does about 25
flushes/hour ? . The database which I upgraded from IDS7.30UC7 to
IDS7.31FC4(Unix 64bit) is 60GB ; what is the size of the database(s)
you upgraded and how much time did it take for the conversions to
complete ? thanks again!
