This type of error would indicate that there is already something
using the port number you specified in /etc/services. You should
be able to check this with netstat -a | grep -i listen. Then in that
output look for something listening on the port number for the
service name provided in sqlhosts. Also, you don't need to use
a service name in the sqlhosts file. You can directly specify a port
number, for example:
my_networkname ontlitcp myhostname 5454
The 5454 being the port number oninit will attempt to start listening
on.
