If you're loading a large percentage of rows in the table, it will be quite a bit faster if you drop any indexes which exist in the table you're loading before you load and recreate them afterwards. As far as foreign key references go, I don't think they should be a problem unless you are using constraints. If you are, I would imagine you could just load your tables containing the primary keys to your foreign keys first. Also, I recommend dropping transaction logging or audit trails before loading (if you use them). This will help your speed too. Hope this helps!
