ACE WORDWRAP Madness

Hello All. I'm attempting to generate a report that has 2 columns that need to be WORDWRAP'd. The report should look something like this: Item # Item Name Description 1 Description 2 ------ --------- ------------- ------------- 1 AAAAA This is a sample This is a sample description for description for the desc 1 field. the desc 2 field. It instead looks like this: Item # Item Name Description 1 Description 2 ------ --------- ------------- ------------- 1 AAAAA This is a sample description for the desc 1 field. This is a sample description for the desc 2 field. This is not acceptable. The ACE code used to produce this report is something like: SELECT item_num, item_name, desc1, desc2 FROM my_table END PAGE HEADER PRINT "Item # Item Name Description 1 Description 2" PRINT "------ --------- ------------- -------------" ON EVERY LINE PRINT COLUMN 1, item_num USING "######", COLUMN 9, item_name, COLUMN 23, desc1 wordwrap right margin 40 COLUMN 42, desc2 wordwrap right margin 65 Is there any simple way to fix this problem or is this just one of ACE's little "Features"... :^) Chris -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chris Hushour Internet: cwh@evolving.com Evolving Systems Incorporated Englewood, Colorado
