Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

When we develop C or ESQL/C programs, we can include a static
variable initialized to the appropriate SCCS codes for storing
revision information in our executables (accessible with the
UNIX 'what' command).
Can anyone tell me how to accomplish the equivalent in 4gl?
I cannot see any way to initialize statics prior to program
execution in 4gl.
I believe that this must be possible. Informix must be able
to support this simple SCCS function.
I can't seem to find any other way than to include an assignment
in a function in each file.
