I've heard the same is true for LRUs = 64 or 96..... I've been told to avoid
those numbers..... as well as 128.

The maximum value of LRUS is 128 as for CLEANERS also. There is a bug in
all versions upto and including 7.24UC7 that reports a spurious error
message at startup time if you use 128 LRUs, complaining that your logical
and
physical logs sizes are zero (0) so I just use 127. I have not check
to see if they fixed this one in 7.3x but it is harmless, only annoying.

Hi Valerie.
Different problem. The problem for 128, apparently fixed at least in
7.31, was harmless. The problem with LRUS=64, and possible also 96, is
quite harmful causing the bufwaits reported in onstat -p to increase by
5 to 10 times what it would be for 63 or 65. This one is a real but
unacknowledged bug and as such the only way to tell if it was fixed would
be to try it out in production. Understandable I have not done so since
performance in the presence of the bug is dismal.
