Supporting Russian

Dear All, I have an application that now needs to support the Russian Language, and I am now trying to work out just how to go about this. I created a database with DBNLS=2, and created tables with nchar data types. I can use load to populate tables but when I try to use insert into table_name ('something in russian'); I get error 202 - attempting to use a non-printing character. The 'something in russian' is an example I found in a "pragmatica" font, this is an ascii character set with cyrillic up in the numbers that are not normally printable. I have a feeling this is not a good place to start. What should I be doing with setlocale and stuff like that? I am running online 7.1 on hp/ux 9 Any ideas / fonts welcome.
