Check out the code in the IIUG web site under the DBA section -- utils_jl.
It has code for handling this sort of stuff. It was last used actively on
v5.00 OnLine, so you'd probably have to fettle the code which discards
messages so that you don't get to see routine messages, but otherwise, it
should work. Note that it is designed to be run periodically by cron
rather than being triggered when an event happens -- I don't know whether
the alarmprog system can help with this sort of problem or not.
