You can free up by doing onmode -l and also make sure you do onmode -c to checkpoint. We have recently migrated our app to informix. I want to remove some logical logs that are sitting in my rootdbs. When I try the onparams -d -l 1, I get "can only drop an unused logical log.". I dont understand how to make a logical log free again. I am also looking for some advice on logical log size. I have searched the news groups and havent found a clear answer on the subject.
