I have not tested but in my opinion, no one of these statements could work : you
are trying to concatenate CHAR strings : the result of the concatenation can't
be stored in s_descr varaible (you are putting 255 + 30 characters in 255
characters ! ). This kind of statement could only work with VARCHAR
strings...assuming that you are not going over the string length.
