Look, any number of people will tell you I'm exceedingly stupid, but why
don't you just create
ln -s /dev/rdsk/m197_c0d2sb /dev/rdsk/m187_c0d2sb
ln -s /dev/rdsk/m197_c0d2sc /dev/rdsk/m187_c0d2sc
etc?
