We obtain a error when execute "mkrun" to generate "fglrun". Run nm against all the libraries you have and grep for each of the missing names and for records which do NOT contain the string "UNDEF" these libs will be the ones missing from your link or which need to be moved after others or repeated in the link line. So try this: for lib in /usr/lib/*.a; do echo "Checking library: $lib" nm $lib | egrep "_xttyname_r|_xreaddir_r|_xgetlogin_r" | fgrep -v UNDEF done If you have GNU egrep you can use the -H or --with-filename option instead of the echo to list only the library names that contain matches. The use of cfglgo worries me; it means you do not have ESQL/C or CSDK on the machine, and have to use I4GL-RDS libraries instead. Are you working on Linux? Can you create a custom I4GL-RDS p-code runner successfully? If not, you're on a hiding to nothing when you try to create the D4GL p-code runner. Which version of which o/s are you using? No output written t > o R5552 > > Thanks, in avanced. > jhernandez@geuropa.com It seems that either you are missing some libraries in your link path or the order of which the libraries are set should be changed, or in some compilers you may have to link the same library twice. You can use nm on all the libraries on your computer to check out the missing symbols if you can not find it in the libraries then you are in trouble. If you find the correct library and it is no in the link path add it to the link path. If it is then add it again at the end any way. PS: If you were using QueriX I could have told you exactly what libraries were missing should you have had a similar problem -- Compliments of QueriX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QueriX 4GL Compilers are Informix 4GL Compatible. Some features are: True Windows GUI Clients. ActiveX support. HTML Report Generation. More rigorous error handling. Connection to other RDBMS such as Oracle. Connection to all versions of Informix 4GL with no need to change compiler.
