No chance, unless you've used tbunload to unload a specific table or database.
Dbexport will do it at the database level.
One of the things I've been screaming about forever is the lack of a logical
level archive product. We are finally looking at 3rd parties like DGC
(they make Intelligencia) and OpenVision (OpenV Archive).
If Informix would trash dbexport and tbunload, and make ONE really good
(and fast) product that will support real archiving with archives that
are compatible across releases, then they'd be doing all of us a favor.
tbtape and onarchive are not real archiving products. They are disaster
recovery **backup** products. A real archiving product would let you
restore databases or tables going back to any time period, any release.
