Re: Experience with On-Bar and Sun's NetBackup

Cheryl, We have a similar environment to yours (Sun E4000 and E3000 running ODS 7.23). We are not using NetBackup. We have opted to go with Legato's Networker solution. To date, we have not experienced any problems. We have been running in a test environment for a month and no problems have appeared. Including cold/warm restores, PIT, etc. The caveat I would mention is to run onBar in single thread mode (BAR_MAX_BACKUP = 1). There is a known problem with multi-threads.
