Has anyone got a UDT to store and manage this date/time/zone format in Informix directly without having to manipulate the date : 2018-04-19T02:14:09.089473705-07:00 Product Management : Given the global nature of computing and IOT devices that are storing data in the cloud there should be a native data type to hand; DateTimeZone data.
Not that I heard about. But it's something I've imagine would be nice to have considering the globalization. Some time ago I tried to create a derived type that would store the timestamps in GMT format. But I rapidly reach the conclusion that I would need C to do the casts.... And never proceeded with the tests... I don't understand the "format" you provide as an example, but I assume it's a bit different from what I was trying... looks like it contains the timezone definition in the value? Regards. This is the data I am receiving from Telsa Powerwall 2, looks like the format is : Java SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss'Z'")
This is just a simple C wrapper to a mi_string_datetime Paul Watson Oninit www.oninit.com Tel: +1 913 674 0360 Cell: +1 913 387 7529 Oninit® is a registered trademark of Oninit LLC Failure is not as frightening as regret.
