Sybase Replication Server was in Alpha when we announced it. It is now in Beta and should ship within a few weeks. I think you will find that Oracle was creating some vapourware to try to counter the real product coming from Sybase. Oracle7 doesn't do anything like what Replication Server does and 7.1 is an attempt to confuse the market into thinking that Oracle has some of the features of the Sybase Replication Server.
