Webexplode() and SPLs

Hi All. Configuration : Informix Universal Server 9.12TC3, WebBlade 3.30TC6 I've created a SPL routine with data modification statements (CREATE TEMP TABLE, INSERT, DROP,DELETE) . But I can't execute this routine from the <MISQL> tag because it raising exception -675(Illegal SQL statement in stored procedure) According Error Messages this error occurs when restricted statement used in stored procedure which called from a SELECT statement, such as: SELECT col FROM tab WHERE testproc(tab.col, tab.key) = 10 . As I know, SQL statements in the <MISQL> tag are executed by the Webexplode()function. This process looks like : SELECT webexplode(...) FROM wbPages WHERE ... Hence, when we call a routine from the <MISQL> tag, the routine is called from SELECT statement. But this mean that we can't use data modification statements within routines . Am I wrong? There is no problem to execute INSERT or UPDATE directly from <MISQL>, so, why I can't substitute several INSERTs with a single "execute procedure" ? Is this technology restriction or I'm wrong somewhere ? Thanks for any hints. Regards, Taras.
