Sorry, you're wrong. When DBCENTURY is not supported by your version of Informix products, any two-digit-year dates are always assumed to be in the 20th century by Informix. This is the behavior that is specifically addressed by the DBCENTURY feature. Time to upgrade if you have to insist on 2-digit years.
