Re: Problems reverting IDS 10 to 9.4

My bad. IDS 10.00.FC4R1 reverted to 9.40.FC7. Server OS is HP-UX 11i. ER was being used and is not coming up. I followed the reversion steps as discribed in the migrate guide but ER still did not take kindly to the reversion. I was able to get the ikeyextractcolno function rebuilt. I delete the records from sysproc[auth, plan, body] and sysprocedure for the ikeyextractcolno function then rebuilt it from the $INFORMIXDIR/etc/boot9x.sql file. That cleared up the sysindexes issue, which revolved around the function in context. My concern now is that I'll have to do the same for all internal functions on all databases in the instance. I'm still waiting for my hand to be slapped my tech support, so we'll see what they have to say about such hacking. --- Neil Truby <neil.truby@ardenta.com> wrote: > > "DL Redden" <redden96@yahoo.com> wrote in message > news:1127237907.6f9614606de9a1723ffb7cf880d8537a@teranews... > > > > [A brief look at our history] > > We are currently running IDS 9.3 on most of our > > production database servers.
