Still problems connecting to Informix SE database

Hello, I have Informix-SE version 7.24 installed on my linux box. Now I want to access a database on my linux box from a windows-nt client using the Informix-CLI demo program. To achive this I start the sqlexecd daemon on my linux box and I added the service to the service file on my nt-client, but now when I try to connect to a database, e.g. stores7 the demo program doesn't find it. My databases on the linux server are located in /home/lars/dbtest, so before starting the sqlexecd daemon on the server I set the environment varible DBPATH to /home/lars/dbtest. Does anyone have an idea what goes wrong? Thanks, Lars.
