Hi ! I'm struggling with the combination Informix 7.30 TC7 and WinNT with SP4. What needs to be done is change the name of the machine. It's currently named FFPLUS but I have to rename it to something else. I thought this could be done easily by changing the machinename + the tcp/ip settings and making the same changes in Setnet32 but this doesn't work :-( Is there an (easy) procedure to do this ? thanks in advance, Benny Kleykens Tech Service FarmaFrame

Once all of the server and hosts information has been deleted, change the server name and TCP settings, then in setnet recreate the server and host values. Hans
