Re: Weird !!! Apache & Webdriver (IIF2000) on Linux

Hi Gabriele.
I'm not sure if these are the same steps you took to get Apache
configure to work with the Web DataBlade, but here are the steps we
follow:
Here are all the modifications we made to
/etc/httpd/src/Configuration.tmpl:
- in EXTRA_LDFLAGS macro, change
-L/informix/dist/IUS/9.20.UC1/esql
to
-L/informix/dist/IUS/9.20.UC1/lib/esql
- to the end of EXTRA_LIBS macro add:
-lcrypt
- in EXTRA_LIBS macro change
/informix/dist/IUS/9.20.UC1/checkapi.o
to:
/informix/dist/IUS/9.20.UC1/lib/esql/checkapi.o
Also in order to run the following command without any errors:
./configure --activate-module=src/modules/informix/informix.o
--enable-module=informix --prefix=/etc/httpd
We first had to set the following:
export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/informix/dist/IUS/9.20.UC1/lib:/informix/dist/IUS/9.20.UC1/lib/esql:/informix/dist/IUS/9.20.UC1/extend/web.4.00.UC1/apache:${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}
Although this isn't strictly necessary it does avoid any error messages
during the Apache configuration stage.
We'll be changing the release notes for the Linux Web DataBlade, but for
now unfortunately the instructions remain inaccurate.
Hope this is of some use. Regards,
