Re: export / import

1) dbschema -d databasename -t tablename to get the structure of one table, or
dbschema -d databasename -t all to get the structure of all the tables in the
database.3) run the output of the above into the new database to create the tables
4) load or dbload (see the FM for syntax) to get data into specific tables
The iiug software repository has some improved versions of the above.
Hope this helps.

I am a newbie to Informix and wanted to know some info on exports and
imports.
1)Is there a way to export just the database objects without the data.
2)Export by user?
3)Import just the schema.
4)Import data from specific tables and/or user?
5)In NT is the export/import conducted using a command line or is there
a GUI tool?
Any help would be appreciated.? I will be using Informix 7.3.0 for NT.
Thanks.
