I have a little problem since I have upgraded my Informix SE from 7.1 to 7.24. I used to query the database with several users eventhough the table were owned by user1. Now i need to query this way : SELECT * FROM "user1".salestable; If I am logged in with user1, I only have to do it the normal way : SELECT * FROM salestable; Under certain 4GL programs I can't make it work with the "user1".tablename. Any Idea of where to configure that? Patrice.
That problem sounds like a MODE ANSI database problem. Check whether your database is in MODE ANSI. If so, diagnosis complete. The fix is harder -- you need to convert to a non-ANSI mode.
