Hi,
I am trying to restore a backup machine manually, in case the production
machine down, I can switch to the backup machine.
We run Online 5 on the machines.
After a level 0 archive restored, I fed the backup machine with logical log
backup tapes daily. But after a while, "tbtape -r" told me "logical logs are
fulled." The online log shows:
13:23:14 ERROR: logread() - loguniq 7399 logpos 0x124740
13:23:14 INFORMIX-OnLine Must ABORT
Log Error 'logread() - logsearch() FAILED' us 0xca7d6ec0 pid 0 us_flags 0x101
tx 0xca7e40d0 tx_flags 0x86403 tx_loguniq 7399 tx_logpos 0x124740
13:23:14 -- Online Aborting -- us=ca7d6ec0, pid=8074, uid=213
Seems tbtape wanted to read log 7399, but it's gone. 7399 was not in
the list produced by "tbstat -l", the oldest one is 7400.
It takes me 10 hours to do a test:( Hope any of you can give me a hint.
Thsnks.
