Advice? Hi, don't you think that parallel transactions are good enough ? I've never heard anything about nested transactions in Informix. But you can set up several transactions by opening several connections. CONNECT TO ... AS connect_name1 WITH CONCURRENT TRANSACTIONS; ... CONNECT TO ... AS connect_name2 WITH CONCURRENT TRANSACTIONS; There's a way to switch between the different transactions and this should be enough. Do you aggree ?
